FAQS – Shopluxe Consignment

To consign with us, simply submit a consignment form with a thorough description of your item and one of our sales associates will provide you with a quote on the final listing price. Please ensure you include any wear throughout for your item to be provided with an accurate estimated sale price. We reserve the right to decline any items that are received and do not align with the SL item quality and expectations and merely do not reflect the images and description submitted on the request form.

While we understand you may sometimes change your mind upon send-off. We put a lot of time and effort into taking photos, authenticating and marketing your item. That’s why we initiate a 60-day contract period as this provides us with adequate time to sell it. If you wish to have your item returned prior to the 60-day agreement period, you are required to pay a $100 early release fee as it voids our consignment terms and conditions.

Our team will be in touch via email once the consignment form has been filled out. If your item fits within our standards we will request additional images. Please ensure all images are taken against a clean background in natural light.

In order to make an informed assessment of your item, we will require the following images.

- Front
- Back
- Side
- Base
- Corners (Close up of any scuffing or discolouration)
- Interior
- Close up images of any visible wear, flaws or imperfections

Yes, we offer a stand-alone authentication service. We are proudly partnered with Entrupy, a state of the art luxury authentication solution which uses artificial intelligence and microscopic computer vision to inspect the product and verify authenticity. The authenticity of all items purchased at Shopluxe is guaranteed.

Alternatively, we also liaise with reputable third-party authentication services to verify the authenticity of all our items.

We charge a $100 authentication fee if you are NOT consigning with us. We charge a $35 authentication fee via Entrupy if you are selling your authenticated item with us (not including Hermes). This will be deduced from the final payout fee.

Shopluxe guarantees the authenticity of all items consigned and sold with us. If you submit and consign an item with us that is deemed to be counterfeit upon authentication, we will charge a $200 release fee which must be paid prior to the release of your item. The fee is to cover the return postage fee and the time spent preparing and authenticating your item. If the fee is not paid within 14 days, we reserve the right to dispose of the item.

Yes! We allow all our buyers with the option to pay off their items slowly. We require a 20% non-refundable down payment to secure your item. The remaining amount will be payable over 4 weeks with weekly instalments. If you would like to purchase an item on a payment plan, please contact our team via instagram DM or email us at info@shopluxe.com.au with reference to the item. Our team will send through the payment plan breakdown. The deposit is required immediately to ensure the item has been secured. It is the buyers responsibility to commit to the dates of payment. If payment have not been received weekly, this may result in a loss of deposit and the item will be re-listed.
